Very solid projector, excellent price. Spent quite a bite of time researching projectors and this is the best portable (no plug needed has a battery on board) projector in this price bucket - steal at this price. Pro version has more lumens. I've used this for camping, plenty bright IMO at 500 lumens but meant to be used at night/dark rooms.

500 lumens and 720P hard pass. Need at least 1600 lumens and 1080p at this price.

have this projector. solid projector. kinda pricey but it performs well. you are paying for the built in speakers and Android (which is horrible by the way). The speakers are great though and in a dim/dark room, this is a great projector. obviously, if you want 1080p then this isn't for you. but if you're like me, watching stuff off your wall or random surface, then 720p vs 1080p doesn't matter cause your wall sucks as a projection screen.

the beauty of this is its portability and built in, really good speakers. battery is enough to watch a full length movie or two on a full charge. plug in a chromecast or fire stick and go to town. it states it doesn't support chromecast, but that just means its not built in. it will still work with one plugged in.

Is there a point in pro version if the android isn't good?

it is ANSI lumens, not lumens.

500ansi lumen is much brighter than 1600 lumens

Wait for the Philips Picopix Max. Also Anker has a Kickstarter for their newest projector. Both are a lot better specs.

Get this if you want the portability and convenience.

Yes there are other projectors with HD and higher lumens but none come with a 3/4 hour battery and this convenient.

Great deal OP!

It's crazy that a multi-million dollar company like Anker needs to go to Kickstarter.
They basically using the pre-orders to gauge the market. It really isn't for funding, but for marketing research.

Pretty business-savy on their end. It's a shame Kickstarter is allowing stuff like that though. It should be there to help startups.
