I've read a lot of bad reviews on Samsung appliances. Can someone give a personal review?

The electric range is kinda weak, but 3 years no issues. Microwave is ok. Both have been pretty reliable. Can't speak for the fridge or the dishwasher.

I know a place that has upper model Samsung gas range and they abuse it but still strong

stay away from their front load washers

In five years the only Samsung appliance that hasn't required multiple repairs is the microwave.

Oven is horribly inaccurate at temps from day 1 and they have been out to calibrate it repeatedly. Ironically the G fell off Samsung.
Refrigerator constantly freezes up - search Samsung ice maker class action lawsuit.
High end super quiet dishwasher has had multiple sensors replaced over the years and just needed the control board replaced. Gave it away for free.

Have a samsung microwave, fridge, dishwasher, n oven. Personally would just get the fridge and go with kitchen aid or something for rest of appliances. Samsungs washer and dryer work well also

i would suggest anyone wanting to buy a samsung french door refrigerator do their homework about the problems with the icemaker. Samsung is about to be hit with a class action lawsuit and are finally handing out refunds to customers because there is not a fix and people that have their fridge serviced with new parts are having the same problems. There are groups on facebook dedicated to helping people get refunds for faulty/leaking icemakers.

Your Samsung fridge ice dispenser will turn into an ice block in 6 months. Stay far away until resolved.

Horrible fridge experience. Started in July 2019 with multiple reps coming out to "repair the ice maker"... Turns out was a deeper issue (sealed system). Had that fixed and just broke again 2 weeks ago. Samsung finally agreeing to replace but still waiting on call from place of purchase. So 2 weeks without a damn freezer... TV also broke within a year, for the mother board replaced. Got a lemon washer that broke 1st week... Horrible experience with Samsung....

Bought a Samsung fridge over memorial day weekend. Few months were great and now the door is jamming and creaking when you shut it (out of nowhere). Probably just the start of the issues to come looking at these other experiences.
