This one is set to retire at the end of the year, but I sincerely doubt there's much collectability there. Def not an investment kit.

Yeah, not a collecting one for sure. In fact none of the architecture series are really collectible so far. It's mostly the Marvel/Star wars/Movie-based ones and some creator sets.

I focus on the non franchise sets. I believe the franchises will fade as the fickle public interest wanes. IMHO, it's the LEGO originals which will survive the test of time. Grand Carousel, the original Taj Mahal, the old King's sets, most of the Creator Expert modular buildings... these are probably "consumer boredom" proof.

Yes, some of the creator sets really took up, in absolute % increase it was crazy
