If I didn't really want USB-C power delivery this would be an instant buy, even if it's 'refurbished'. Seller ratings are decent but not spectacular.

Haven't looked at flex 2in1's in a while. Is there an updated intel 10th gen i7 version with replaceable nvme/pcie ssd, 16gb ram, something else... pen... i don't know can't think of anything else important. I remember reading ryzen models don't support dual channel ram and it's not even upgradeable or 4gb is soldered? something like that.

My guess would be that these "Seller Refurbished" units are basically lightly used returns or something along those lines. Usually I'm picky but I pulled the trigger, it's $80 less than what Amazon was asking on Black Friday pre taxes. Worst case scenario, 30 day returns. These mobile Ryzen chips perform really well overall.

VIPOutlet is primarily Wal-Mart and Home Depot returns from my experience. Generally good quality and like new. If they are listed 'pre-owned' there is usually more wear.

I'm seeing a 90 warranty. Too short for a several hundred dollar item.

This was the most useless response ever. Do you work in marketing for Intel? The $400 ish version of this laptop with Intel gets you an 8th gen i3 w/ 4 gb of RAM... So why are you recommending a potential future product that will cost probably 2.5x this price? Of course Ryzen supports dual channel. In this particular laptop is 4gb soldered + 4 gb stick.

I got one of these on Prime Day's Daily deal. Besides not having USB-C charging it checks all the boxes for an entry laptop. Gaming performance is good for this price and normal internet experience is as good as my gaming desktop. My only complaints are the chicklet style keyboard, I prefer the longer keystrokes of the X1 Carbon and Lenovos wifi cards do not keep the network connected on startup. I have the same issue with my work X1 carbon as this one. But overall, this does everything with the included pen and ability to go into tablet mode. If you aren't looking for a dedicated gaming laptop, this is a week above average entry laptop.

Don't take it so hard. It's only a comment, not a dick. If i was working for intel marketing i think i'd be better off financially and would not need to be here looking for "deals". i3 is not what i need. i said 10th gen i7. The lack of dual channel support in ryzen/flex didnt' come from my anus but from some expert forum. but i like flex 2in1 better than high end ovepriced xps and hp. wanted to see if anybody knows if/when flex will be available with better specs/intel. does it mean i'm with lenovo now or still with intel? lol
