i love many behringer products but this one has a track record of issues
While this is true to some extent, always remember, the vast majority of people who are happy with a product...any product, will not post reviews on line. People who are unhappy are much more likely to do so. Also, so many people are used to plug-and-play devices these days and when they come across one that takes some time and learning to set-up and get working right, they blame the product for the lack of knowledge. I know, I've done this myself! That being said, this is a $100 keyboard controller.. that does the things $2,000 controllers do. The next cheapest keyboard controller with one..that's ONE.. motorized fader is the Nektar Panorama P6 which costs more than SIX times as much as this. For anyone on a budget this seems like a no brainier. You can always return it if it's a dud.

It's the turds who aren't versed in midi implementation, and are too lazy to learn so they pull a "DOH!".. and blame the equipment instead of their own shortcomings.

nope this controller is notorious for hardware issues and design flaws. a simple google search would make that apparent to even the most lazy and ignorant of shoppers
just to let you know out of the box the firmware isn't that great. the velocity of the white vs. black keys are totally imbalanced as reviewers pointed out. the new firmware thankfully fixes it
firmware version 1.091
you can get off the Behringer site. (several times the site was down. i had to wait a few hours but finally got the firmware) now it's decent to play with
i used the cyber15 coupon that works for the 49 key one (not the 61 key) and got it for 84.99 shipped to NJ(no tax)

99% of the people posting about the "notorious" hardware issues, like you, never owned one and are referring to the same three or four posts that can be found on google. There is literately only one video on youtube showing a problem with a few keys sticking. The only other problem was corrected with a firmware update.. and this is par for the course with digital gear, high end gear as well. I just got mine Friday. This thing blows away my old Keylab controller that cost me $700 used five or six years ago. You mad, bro?
