Awesome! I'm gonna replace the crappy heavy duty batteries in my smoke detectors with these.

Great post. Great price on the 9V. Reviews are a little weak with reports of 14 and 15 month expiration dates. 9 volts are less forgiving with the passage of time than regular batteries.

Don't buy too much, my experience shows that Amazon discounts batteries (at least good ones) when they are close to expiry

Do these leak like a sieve like the standard Duracells?

I have been hearing this from many other people. I have had over 35% leakage over the past year or two, ruining several expensive pieces of electronics and costing our company thousands.

Duracell are the absolute worse right now. They used to be great back in the day, but something has been going on at that place for years now.

I would stay away from Duracell batteries at ALL costs right now.

Batteries are like eggs... Buy them fresh locally when needed... Or pay half price for old, counterfeit junk from online discounters.

Pretty rough reviews for these batteries. I normally love Duracells but will pass on these. Will stick to the Costco jumbo pack for smoke detectors since they are usually pretty fresh.
