Smoking deal, front page worthy. A glass jar, this day and age? Glad to see some companies still care about quality and away from the disposable culture.

The most negative reviews say this blender worked for 1 to 1.5 years, container is glass (which I can prolly use on other blenders) so for 15 bux oh yeah I'm in for one. thanks OP

Even if it lasts 1-1.5 years, for $15, worth the price (also as a xmas gift)!

Dead. Probably would have bought one too.

This was a really good price too. I think this is the one I was looking at for $50 a few months back. The problem with that one (which I think is the same one) was the rubber gasket will eventually wear out. That's common and no big deal as it's a wear item. However, it's impossible to get a replacement. Oster has been saying they're out of stock and expecting to get them soon for like 2 years now. No replacements on ebay. People have been buying sheets of rubber and making their own out of necessity.

After a bunch of runaround, I spoke to a livechat person and they said if it did start leaking within the warranty period and if they did not have gaskets by then, that they would do a warranty replacement. That's an FYI to people who bought it or already have one.

Deal isn't dead. Just did the same thing. Clicked other options, picked the $15 with amazon prime, added to my cart and checked out.
