The BF price for this set was $74.
It is now $50 and you have to pick it up in store, at least for me.

Some stores are still going at $74 so you will have to check inventory.

Don't buy hypertough I purchased a cordless pole saw from them and it broke within the first 90 days and because of all the run arounds I couldn't return it to Walmart. Also hyper tough doesn't have a warranty support company so it will be a nightmare! I just purchased a new Ridgid set from Home Depot for $249 and it comes with lifetime replacement or repair for the battery and the drill! My last Ridgid drill set lasted me 15 years unfortunately 15 years ago they didn't offer the lifetime warranty! Just my input! Good luck guys!
I'm with you in that you should buy quality tools. However, $50 vs $250 isn't a fair comparison

Thanks OP picked one set up for $30. Great slick deal IMHO. Noticed the saw retails on the shelf for $39.99 alone. 2 batteries, perfect for occasional use where I need a battery operated tool (junk yard!). If the job is heavy duty I use corded tools!

Bump

Who's this loser thumbing down posts. It literally does nothing. It doesn't even hide it like reddit.

$30 in Des Moines now along with a Black & Decker and Porter Cable for $30 each. I think it was these two:

Someone posted on Facebook that they are selling the Hyper Tough sets for $50. I guess this stuff happens quite often with clearance items.

I bought the Black and Decker Drill on Amazon for $31 on Black Friday.
All I can say is looking at the Hyper Tough one at Walmart I would keep my Black and Decker with over 6000 5 star ratings. I used it and it's perfect. The Hyper Tough looks like a toy.

I bought the B&D drill + 2 batteries for myself and this kit for my brother. Have you actually had the hyper tough tools in your hand? If so you'd be unlikely to notice much of a difference if you were blindfolded.

The HT is a much better value. B@D is the " name brand value option" in all things tool related. In all seriousness, we're comparing a Hyundai to a Kia. Come on now.

For $50 ( I paid) it's a good deal. At $30 it's a steal and likely a clearance price. I personally would've picked up two at $30.

I'm going to be watching the price as these will probably start clearancing out soon in my area.

I bought this kit and brought it home. Just opened it and in the box are:

2 drills
1 saw
1 flashlight
1 battery

Impact driver completely missing. Damn you Walmart.

Somebody more than likely bought it and took what they needed and returned it. Some of those customer service folks don't do a whole lot inspection.

Hope they don't give you much trouble returning it.

Me too! I thought it was really odd that somebody took the impact driver out and replaced it with a drill. Unfortunately the impact driver was the main reason I bought the kit in the first place.
