With all the best deals this year, here is another cheaper option. I have one myself.

I know these have gotten down to $81 but anything in the $80s is good.

These have pretty bad reviews across the board. Problems with connectivity the main complaint. Anyone know if they've fixed these problems with firmware updates?

I've had mine running for a few months now with no issues.

Anyone know where to get online coupons for HD? Everything I see on eBay is in-store only, that's reasonably priced.

Do you know the differences between the T5 and T5+? Mass Save is offering the T5 for $49 (for MA residents).

I have the t5+ the unit runs perfectly. I do get issues connecting with the app sometimes which requires me to restart the app, but after closing /opening the app it works fine. I honestly don't change stuff via app regularly so it does not bother me.

Do you have to connect to WiFi, or can you just not connect and use it as a standard programmable thermostat?

You don't need wifi. I switched internet providers and it worked fine for the few days I had no service.
