Yeah, if you're someone that plans to resell at some point, then cartridge is your best choice... obviously if you can wait until it's on sale then go for it.
If you know you'll stick with your switch forever or hand it down to someone and don't mind them accessing your account then digital isn't that bad.
Thanks for listing the digital sales. It stinks that you can't sell them, but for those of us with little ones at home not having to change cartridges (or having them try to) is a big deal.
A lot of the reviews I've read essentially say this is a dumbed down version of previous Mario Party games. Fewer boards, smaller boards, unskilled minigames, and easy for anyone to win the match. Maybe good for kids but not for those expecting a true Mario Party game.
Same price at Best Buy - went this route because I could pay with PayPal, which is linked to my Chase Freedom for 5% cashback.
Also, the digital route is awesome since there's no sales tax for me in California. I also prefer having digital version for all of my multiplayer games.

Digital copies are just more convenient for me than swapping cartridges.

To each his own.... isn't it?

I personally do prefer physical cartridge.
