i'm surprised this has not garnered any interest. this is an awesome deal. google store retails for $249, now priced at $179 and this deal is instant $100 off. decided on a nest e instead for $39 after instant rebate thru comed marketplace. did not even know that this exist.

Check your ultiliy company's website. I'm in Chicago burbs and we have ComEd marketplace.

Note that shipping takes 4-6 weeks (in MA at least). You can also just order from any of the places currently selling for $179 (Amazon, Best Buy, Google), get it instantly to install for the colder months, and claim the $100 rebate. For MA it's https://www.masssave.com/en/rebates/

I know waiting for a rebate isn't ideal either, but I'd prefer that to waiting on the thermostat to arrive.

Purchased a Nest for 79 bucks from comed marketplace on Sunday. Arrived Tuesday.

you can also get promo discount code send to you via email from electricity utility and paste it to your major retailer store near by and buy one online and pickup the nest same day for $79. that what i did. no need to wait for mail drop off.
