I feel $140 is a bit too high for a refurbished monitor, 144Hz refresh rate notwithstanding

Yeah you can usually get 24" brand new for around 150. You're really saving on 27 inch, which is $190 on Best Buy atm. That's about it.

Overpriced for refurbished. Cyber Monday had larger 144hz for about the same.

a different refurb monitor i got from ACER was pretty much new even though it was Scratch & Dent* the only thing i see that maybe a downside is the warranty might not be full as new. this is a good deal for a 27" 144hz. i know its not IPS, but then again thats why itis only 140$.

I bought this and it came with 7 dead pixels. Not going to keep it but going to use it for the 89 days and then return it and get my money back.

Not crapping on this deal, but just a rule of thumb I've developed over the years - avoid buying used/refurbished 1) devices that have rechargeable batteries in them 2) monitors/TVs
