Packaging looks like the cle-line set - anybody know if they share the same mfr? I would assume they aren't because Skil =/= Cle-line but thought I'd ask.

Cle-line is made in the USA. Pretty sure this is made in China.

Is this actually HSS? Lowe's has that in their description of almost all their drill bit sets, but the manufacturer's website and the product packaging doesn't mention that anywhere. It's not easy to see the markings on the shaft of the bits when they are in the package.

The packaging says it's gold oxide coated. I'd say compared to my harbor freight titanium coated bits, these don't cut hard materials as well.

$10 in my local store. I hate California more and more with every passing day.

I should buy this merely for the fact that the case looks just like the case my dad had when I was a child and I used to help him. Just brought back memories.

Funny enough I looked at these and the first thing that came to mind was "this looks exactly like my HF set"
