not to be a dick or anything, but poor people should not be subscribing to Amazon prime in the first place. that's how you end up in more debt.
Even accounting for the $5.99/month membership, select items can be less expensive on Amazon than in local stores in some areas. This can save people money.

I have to disagree. Amazon is far from a luxury, nowadays it is the most convenient way to order necessities. From household essentials, medication, to now groceries Amazon can deliver the essentials that the elderly and disabled vitally need. It genuinely baffles me how some people can't see that the ones who truly need Prime the most(and with it the delivery of food and medication) are indeed the poor and the disabled...the very ones who either through infirmity or poverty do not have reliable access to a vehicle.

You can save over 50% buying grocery from amazon with EBT card. I don't have a EBT card but I live in Miami and every super market here sells cheap meat/milk but charge 50%-75% extra for everything else. IF I was on EBT and had no car to go to Walmart, I would order from Amazon to save money.

Does this membership also allow for two user accounts?

Edit: Amazon gets me the best deals on Huggies products and many other household necessities, I'd say that absolute majority of my Amazon purchases are made there because of a great price, and not because I can get a latest and greatest tech gadget overnight.

New from amazon - If you receive EBT or Medicaid, you can now become a prime member for almost half price ($6 per month). More info here:

Dude that info is old
