I don't know why this got so much hate - if you are in the market for a 16" macbook pro, this is a good deal.

Whether you think $3000 for a laptop is "never a good deal" or not is irrelevant.

I write code for a living and over the last 10 years have found windows to just be unreliable when compared to macs, so it is worth it to me to pay extra, and if I can get a couple hundred bucks off, that is a great deal!

yeah this is weird why you're getting all these thumbs downs, the last thread with the deal from Adorama is mysteriously GONE. This is an even better deal for people looking for a 32gb version which has never been on sale until now.
