This one because it's $8.29. Actually $11 is still a good price for a 12 pack I think.

Read the reviews. I almost bought these when they were higher but still cheap. Lots of recent reviews say the product amazon ships tastes bad and has 'rust' colored liquid, while product bought at the store tastes good and looks normal. I passed. I prefer the king oscar tiny tots and walmart sells them cheap.

Thats why they are so cheap. They expire most likely in about 3-6 months from now so they are clearing out inventory. Fine by me.

High in calcium (bones) and high in omegas while low on pollutants and heavy metals. I eat them at least once or twice a week. Just don't get boneless/skinless, as those have little to no calcium and less omegas since thats in the skin. I wouldn't bother with the packed in water, the olive oil ones taste better. I also avoid the ones with sauce in the can. Often that's done with pieces and not whole sardines or ugly fillets they wanted to cover up.

As someone else mentioned the reviews say that recently these aren't that good. Have you had these from Amazon recently? Thinking about canceling.

Nope. Bought them at costco a few times but they're big filets, like 3 big hunks in a can. I like the smaller ones. Higher ratio of skin/bone where the nutrition is and I find them milder and less "fishy". I can eat Tiny Tots right out of the can. The wild planet ones I preferred in a cooked dish. Tossed with some pasta, olive oil, garlic and grated parm.

The bad reviews of people getting old product, red goo in the can and off tastes made me cancel my order. They seem to be dropping the price every week. This is like the 4th or 5th deal on these in the last couple of weeks.

Ok so you wouldn't trust these and previous recent Amazon deals to be a good product?

I didn't. My walmart charges a little over a buck for better sardines I prefer. Too many weird reviews about getting 3 or 4 year old product, "rust" and bad flavors. Read some of the other SD wild planet threads. Lots of folks weren't happy.

Of course, amazon has been good about refunding me if I have a problem, but its still a little bit of a hassle.
