Widget on ios is not working

I am unable to see the deals on the widget. I tried reinstalling the app and have checked for latest updates. Nothing solves the problem.
Is anyone facing this issue?
I'm running on latest ios 13.2.3 and slick deals app version 5.8.2.

Any help is appreciated. I could not attach the screenshot to this post.

Same here. The Slickdeals widget on the iPhone has not worked in weeks. I have the latest Slickdeals app installed (5.8.2), the latest iOS running (13.2.3), and I am using an iPhone 11.

The error message I receive on the widget is: "Unable to load".

I've uninstalled/reinstalled the Slickdeals app, removed/added back the Slickdeals widget, and also restarted my phone. The same issues remain.

Ok, awesome, I'm not the only one lol... Did a reinstall and turning off/on my phone to see if it would update but nothing. Phone and app are running latest updates and software too

Same here. I'm the type that hardly ever updates unimportant apps that are working fine for me. But I randomly decided during Black Friday to update slickdeals and as soon as I did the widget stopped working. So I know it's possible for it to work on older builds.

The release of version 5.8.1 accidentally broke the widget on the app. We do apologize for the inconvenience and can assure you that our development team is looking to correct this and get the widget up and running again soon. Sadly, I don't have an exact date for that yet, but will keep you posted when I know more.

Hello! You've stated that the 5.8.1 release broke the widget functionality. However, my app version is 5.8.2, and still doesn't work. Is there a timeline with which this may be fixed? The widget is a terrific app extension that I personally use all the time, and miss using it. Thanks again and Merry Christmas to all!

Hi pobls,

The fix for this issue hasn't been released yet, so while v5.8.2 and v5.9​ have made it to the App Store, they did not contain the fix for the widget, which is why it is still broken. The fix for the widget is tentatively scheduled for the next sprint and will hopefully make it out in the next release. Unfortunately, I can't guarantee that or give an exact date, but we're working hard to get it fixed this month.
