i bought one last year to try it out. It seemed like a very nice shirt but it was a little tight on me.
It was a fitted and I probably needed a slim. So I returned it, I got a confirmation that they received the return but I had to email them a month later to get the refund.
That said, if i needed four white shirts right now, I'd seriously consider it for $95.
(not seeing a lot of options available)

here's some measurement comparisons i copied last year.

..................Collar ..Chest.....Waist
CT 16 Slim ... 16 .....46 ........ 43
CT 16 ext slim16 .....43.25 .... 40.25
CT 15.5 Slim .15.5 ..44 ......... 41
CT 15.5 ext slim 15.5 41.5 ... 38.5
TML 16 Slim ..15.8 .. 47 ...... 42
TML 15.5 Slim 15.5 . 45 ...... 40
TML 16 fitted . 15.8 . 45.5 ... 40.5

I have the exact same problem - ordered 34.5 sleeve size from the previous 4x @ $100

The sleeves were too short but of course; I realize after getting them from dry clearer. Called their customer service; I was told I could not return them..

Also ; quality is not even close to Charles Tyrwitt shirts - they will more like $10 Kohls Branded shirts in quality. of course; your experience may be different.
Why did you take them to dry cleaners if they didn't fit? What reason did they give to decline the return?

As new shirts have fold marks when they are opened; I took them to dry clear for washing/ironing. Customer service said if it is open and not in original packaging; they will not refund...so I decided not to return...

That doesn't make sense. Why would you not try to see if it fits first. I doubt the need it in the original packaging, they just want the package because it has the barcode on it fo your purchase. They expect you to be able to try it on.

I placed my first order with them today

Have bought from both in the past. I tend to prefer TM's cut & style but materials seem to be slightly better with CT. CT seem to have very long tails which makes untucked casual look wearing rather unpleasant, based on the ones that I bought. On the other hand I bought some John Francomb designed TM a while back that had great stylish collars which I luv. Also I think TM uses better buttons while collar stiff quality goes to CT.
In terms of returns, have had no problems with either companies. I believe they both issue credit back as soon as is verified that the provided return postage has been accepted by local post office which is better than the experience I had with hautelook/Nordstrom rack on a returned undeliverable package due to wrong address. That one took about 4 months even though it was verified via UPS that it was never delivered and was on it's way back to their warehouse they kept saying I had to wait till they got it physically. The sad part was I got a good deal on clearance items I bought and even offered to have it rerouted to right address and willing to be charged again if they could reorder them for me since they were no longer available. I was told it was not possible because the returned package was being sent to their warehouse in NY and not the one in Cali even though I live on the west coast. According to them reordering is only possible at the Cali returns warehouse, for Christ sake this is year 2018 and this is an American company. It shows the inefficiencies in some of these retailers and why they have problems competing with Amazon. Sorry I had to digress but no probs with returns to the 2 British retailers even when the items were opened and tried. How else would you try the shirts without opening them but common sense demands you don't dry clean before trying them for fit. By the way am about 6ft, 150lbs so on the skinny side. CT 16 36 had longer sleeves & tails for me on their fitted while it was perfect in TM.

Just got my TM Lewin shirts yesterday (12 business days after my order)... very pleased actually (1st time customer). Compared to CT which I own, I don't see a noticeable difference in quality or anything.

Got Super Fitted 15.5 / 34.5 and was concerned the sleeves would be too long as I usually get 34s, but they were still pretty good. Had never had Super Fitted from either TML or CT (wasn't an option last time I got Extra Fitted at CT) and the fit hugs my body perfectly but still allows me to move my arms.

Only annoyance potentially is I had to get Easy Iron for 3 of 4 shirts (1 Non Iron) as Non Iron wasn't an option for all the styles I wanted in my size. Haven't tried to iron yet but out of the packaging I can see how wrinkles are much more prevalent in the Easy Iron shirts. Not TML's fault as 100% cotton shirts that aren't Non Iron do tend to wrinkle pretty easily.
