EDIT information from Better.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello,
I work with Better, com and wanted to see if you could please add in the following information to your post on Amex/Better,com deal as it reads incorrect as it stands, especially regarding eligibility. We want to make sure the offer is stated as accurately as possible:
1) Mortgage rates of any specific customer, stated or otherwise, should not be taken as indicative of a mortgage rate available to all customers. Pricing is based on a number of factors, including the individual credit profile of a potential borrower.
2) The offer is only available to those borrowers who have been marketed to directly by American Express, and those who have not received the offer on their Amex portal or via email are not eligible.

Thanks for the help CycloneFW and ericdabbs, I did got through to Better's team and they followed up today informing, they pushed my details through to AMEX again. "Wait and watch" is what they told me now. AMEX's team which works in the offers side, told me, they can't do anything other than "escalating" the issue.

Anyone have experience with https://interactivemortgage.com
They have quoted 2.375% with 0 closing cost. I am right now in 2.625% and would like to jump into this opportunity.
Why? You'll save like $10 per month. Just use your refi money to buy nio. You'll make $10 per minute.

I just closed my refi in mid Oct 2020 and I just logged in saw that I received the $2500 statement credit back dated to Nov 20th. For me it only took a month or so for the credit to arrive. I wonder what is going on with yours.

My first Better refi of the summer took 11 weeks to get the credit (and that was after I called Amex's Digital Assist Team who contacted Better. It eventually got to my "closing expert" and she reprocessed it with my name corrected (there was a typo). So if there was a hiccup, it easily could take 8-12 weeks.

Yeah, I am going through the same thing as you with the notices. TMS even sent me a later on like 11/28 or something saying my payment was late for 12/1 (wtf). According to multiple reps at TMS and at MrCooper that I spoke with, they told me NOT to make any payment for 12/1 when the account will transfer from TMS to MrCooper.

MrCooper representative said there is a XX day (i believe this was 30-60 days) grace period to make that first payment. Wait till the account shows up in their system and you can go online to create the account with the new mortgage loan account. I have a reminder in my calendar to check after 12/7.

Now, in hindsight, I see why TMS never allowed me to setup auto payments.

I finally got the dreaded letter that my mortgage is being transferred from TMS to Mr. Cooper. I just wish Better did a "better" job (no pun intended) in sorting this thing out from the beginning and just transfer it to Mr. Cooper from the beginning.

I closed my refinance in mid Oct and have a payment due on 12/1/20 to TMS. What are people doing in this situation? It says my mortgage was transferred from Better to Fannie Mae on 11/5/2020 and the postmark of the letter was 11/17/2020 which will eventually be serviced by Mr. Cooper.

I'll have to check all my statements at TMS and MrCooper ... but, while the mortgage is in-transition between all these places (for example, I closed about 9/22 and didn't make a payment to TMS till 10/30 or 11/1 date) ... is it frozen on interest calculation?

45+ days now that TMS has held my October payment and not transferred to Mr. Cooper. Nobody on either side can give me any sort of update or timeline, other than to just "wait" the 60 days they are given and hope for the best. Very poor management that it would 1) take this long to transfer 2) not be able to give me an update.

That sucks. I am in the middle transferring between TMS and Mr. Cooper and I am suppose to start paying Mr. Cooper come Jan 2021. I don't know exactly when I will be receiving the welcome package from Mr. Cooper to confirm the transition with the new loan number but I have yet to receive that welcome package. Hopefully it gets resolved before the end of next week.

I went with a local Houston company 5 minutes from my house. I requested a bunch of quotes and these guys came in the cheapest.
Can you share the company name for title insurance? I am in Texas as well. Thank you!

I got account # from Better in November, no welcome letter from Mr. Cooper. I did setup account in Mr. Cooper, but I did not make payment yet . The customer service from Mr. Cooper told me no penalty.

I closed on Sept 25th. And used by amex personal blue cash everyday card for the amex statement credit. But still haven't got the credit yet even after a couple of follow-ups with the closing expert. Anyone had similar experience / in the same boat? Any suggestions?

Look at the following issues in the past:

You did do the task and submitted your last 4 of the card?

Your name doesn't vary between the loan and the card (missing middle name/initial etc)?
You are the primary of the account?
Did you contact the Amex Digital assist department?
What did the Closing Expert say the last status is of the credit?

In general most people got their credits in 4-8 weeks. Many people got them on the other side around 12 weeks. Some people had a myriad of issues of which I noted the top few to help.
