This seems like a great deal compared to the prices on Proform's website, but it is hard to compare since it is a different model number. Feedback appreciated.

This is cheaper in store. $399.99 - $100.00 for $299.99. I just purchased in store.
Good Deal?

On Amazon, this is the closest model I can find to this Costco version, except Costco does not have the big screen.

Not a fan of bikes with nonforward/back adjustments of the handlebars. Unless you're lucky enough to be dialed in with its position, it is not comfy. The Keiser bikes were horrid before they made the fore/aft adjustment.

I'd recommend to try and find one you can try in person to see if you fit well before you buy.

A simple seat adjustment fore/aft and vertical with this works well. Excellent price on a well made machine. Daughter uses her Peloton daily, but that's way too expensive for me as I have other sports.

No it doesn't. You set your optimal seating position. You adjust from there so you're not stretched out or cramped and you've lost that optimal seating position. If you're happy being inefficient and causing undue stress on your back, hands, knees and so forth, fine, be my guest.

Again, not saying you can't be setup properly on this bike. Just saying without fore/aft movement of the handlebars, it's not as simple and you might be making compromises. So do your homework before you buy.

Did you think there was only one TDF model? That's a $1500 bike with electronic controls, elevation adjustment, built in screen and in a completely different category than this. Geared towards someone trying to mimic a road riding experience, not someone just spinning for fitness.

The Costco model is probably closest to this item:
https://www.proform.com/exercise-...ke-limited
Noted differences are:
  • the Costco model only includes 1 year of iFit vs 3 years
  • the Costco model does not have the big display for iFit (you have to use your own phone/tablet)
  • 16 (Costco) vs 22 levels of digital resistance
  • cost ($400 (Costco) vs $1403).

I saw that in a flyer, but I wondered if it was a typo. Did you actually see the bike in your store? I may have to go check it out when they open.

Looks like that is a completely different, irrelevant bike. It looks similar, but not comparable.

The "deal" for that one is pay for iFit for 3 years, get the bike free. The 1400 pricepoint is for the membership.

Here is a similar Proform bike and at 1:09 in the video it shows there is in fact seat adjustments to raise or lower, move forward or back. It's the same design for adjustability on the Costco Proform. The seat rests on is connected by the rails and those can be moved nose up/down, forward/back. Look at the picture enlarged.

I think it's misleading to call that a 1400 bike in comparison when it's not. The price is for the membership to iFit, not the bike
