Target has the Nordic Ware Baker's Half Sheet for $6.99. They are $10 at Walmart and $22 for 2 at Amazon. These are Wirecutter's favorite half sheet.

I was able to get them to honor the price in store by showing the app price. It may be preferred to select them in store since occasionally a sheet has an imperfection. My store had dozens.

It's aluminum not steel. Should almost never need coarse side of a sponge to clean. Best solution is to get a good silicon baking mat for the baking sheet, and clean that instead.

Nearly every restaurant you eat in uses these or ones similar. If it were true nearly everyone would have alzheimer's. File this aluminum scare alongside the vaccine scam.

Because a full sheet is 26" x 18"

This pan scratched on me after washing it with the coarse side of a sponge. Anyone else have this experience?

Thanks, that makes sense.

Why is aluminum preferred vs. steel? I realize I could Google, but it sounds like you have some knowledge on the topic.

I believe it heats up quicker and cools off faster ; so it starts cooking you food quicker and stop cooking it when you take it out of oven. it is also lighter and cheaper.

Thanks! Been looking for more of these. Costco had a 3 pack with 2 half and a full but I haven't been able to find it since a few years back.

I use the blue scotch brite pads for these and my stainless pans. They have a rough surface but are non scratching.
