Personally I don't care much for the reduced battery life of the 7 compared to the 6. The 7 is the better buy if you for some reason need the Iris graphics, but otherwise I still recommend the 6.

Is it true that the surface model tends to depreciate like cars? I want to get one for using words document, excel spreadsheet, adobe reader/acrobat pro and the idea of buying this at a sale price is good but then it get cheaper in like 2 months...don't know what to do since I have MacBook Air without the mentioned programs and I treat MacBook Air like iPad...
The surface pro 6 is still around 600ish dollars if you can find one. As with most technology, it tends to be a little cheaper when a new model comes out. An Apple Watch 4 is cheaper than a 5.

eBay may or may not be your preference, however you can get this exact bundle for 700 bucks. My brother just pulled the trigger two days ago

EDIT: Seems I made a mistake. That link is for 128GB and the price is higher today than it was two days ago.
