may be a decent deal for this set, but harbor freight has a 4 pack for 11.99 before the normal 20% coupon

Good deal;

Looks like they are chinesium crap though :/
Sad. They USED to be re-branded made-in-USA Mayhew pry bars at a much lower price. Were a good deal back in the day. (Yeah, OK Boomer)

I just bought that exact set for testing some suspension and they did exactly what they were suppose to with zero issues (and I was applying a LOT of force).

Unless you're truly using them day in and out the HF should be more then adequate for the average home mechanic.

Pretty sure they're actually made by Wilde Tool Co., who makes tools as good as any in the country at their Kansas City-area manufacturing plant. They make lots of tools for Snap-On, MAC, Klein, Tekton, and many other USA rebranders, and even a few for Craftsman.

Pretty sure that the craftsman does not have strike caps making them less useful.

There's a Craftsman strike-cap set next to these on the shelf, for $32.99

I'm not one to bash a tool based on COO. But this set is made in India and you can still get the USA made set with strike caps for ~$30. I realize that's more than twice the price of this deal, but for the type of jobs these will be used for, I imagine that is probably money well spent. I own the USA made set and they haven't let me down yet. Though, I've never actually handled this set.

These do qualify for free shipping over $35 if you're buying for gifts, also SEARS5OFF50 if you go over $50 on an order.
