I Assume this is a good deal, msrp is $44.99. Needed one a small one for my oculus quest and for price/size this worked perfectly

Pretty big size for what it offers. Compare the Anker Astro E1 6700mAh.

Its old, the price reflects lack of features. No fast charing (9 volt) and it isn't usb c.

Doesn't seem like a great price comparing it with others in its weight class.

only 2.1A output, charges via micro usb, only 6000mah, overpriced at $14.99, worth maybe $8 at the most

the msrp is from when it first came out which would have been a long time ago, so claiming the savings vs msrp is bull

Maybe overpriced for a typical no name brand no ones heard of.

This is exactly what the masses need and want so thumbs up.
Judging by the confusion and frustration that lasted in well in to the 70's following the introduction in 1959 of 3- way grounding wall receptacles in homes, the widespread understanding and acceptance of USB C-PD might not arrive until 2030.

Attesting to this are the abundance of one star ratings being posted complaining not about a PD bank's performance but about the "dedicated charger" supposedly required and how miserable these folks say they now are at owning a "paperweight that ( they ) can not charge". This Mophie is exactly what is wanted and at a price laziness deserves.

I have one of these and it worked fine for the year or so that I was using it once a week. (I've since moved on to a better phone). The capacity number seems accurate. In terms of a deal, this seems lukewarm.

Not a great market for batteries atm. Everyone's got 11.11 & BF toys, and their toys need juice so external batteries are gonna sell at a premium for a bit. They might maybe dip once before xmas and then spike until well after NYE.

Mophie is a brand name but overpriced. I got a copper 4Ah battery new on amazon for $20 during the summer. I guess they were clearing inventory? This is the higher end model that's slimmer and has a built-in USB-C cable. I later gave that away and upgraded to the 6Ah model in black, but refurbed 3mo warranty. Past the 90 days, but it seems fine. I used it a couple times a week and it seems to hit the rated capacity (~1.7x my 3XL). Maybe I got lucky but I feel much more comfortable with refurbs now.
