I have my eye on this guitar
I need a thin -ish easy to play neck
My hand are not small but thin and suit a faster easy neck
Would this check those boxes?

It's says standard U neck, so it will not likely be thin.

Typical shill post of junk guitar posted on SD. Now if you got the all solid Fender parlor for ~$220, you got yourself a deal.

That other fender was a pos. Maybe the more expensive natural wood one was a good deal, if that is what you are talking about.

1.687" nut width is pretty thin. My go to guitar is my Yamaha FGX800C and it has the same nut width and is a very fast and comfortable size for my hands. Much easier to play than wider necks and more on par with an electric.

Yeah, Seems to be the general consensus.

Looks and sounds awesome, and is in my price range. Thanks, checking it out.

Care to elaborate on why this is a 'junk guitar'? Maybe it's the maple back and sides? Maple neck, or solid spruce top? Rosewood fingerboard? Fishman electronics? Gretsch name? Whether you'd buy it at normal price of $549 or not, is a matter of choice.

At $350, this is less than a mint condition USED G5201E, so I'd classify this as a square deal -- especially if someone likes the Gold Penguin-esque styling over the top of a classic Gretsch Rancher body style. Not to my taste in an acoustic, but may well be to some others.

It's not that terrible of a guitar but it's no steal. It's got laminate sides - the other guitar he is talking about had a solid wood back (and laminate sides I think). Really, laminate for a guitar like this is not bad since it is usually tougher and this smaller size is good for travel. All the other features can be found on most $300 guitars - brand name, made in the lowest bidder country, solid top, rosewood fretboard, Fishman Piezo pickups (god I hate fishman pickups). I think the main problem is this guitar is U-G-L-Y!! Different strokes though.
