Since The Team Group L5 3D has DRAM, it would be the better of those I've listed here.
Which is the better controller?
Is Micron NAND better than Toshiba NAND?

Hyundai Saphire
No DRAM, 3D TLC NAND, Controller = Marvell 88NV1120

Inland Professional
No DRAM, 3D TLC NAND, Controller = Phison S11

PNY CS900
No DRAM, 3D TLC NAND, Controller = Phison S11

Team Group L5 2D
No DRAM, 3D TLC NAND, Controller = SMI SM2256S

Team Group L5 3D
DRAM, 3D TLC NAND, Controller = SMI SM2258

Nand wise they are the same. SMI have better controller imo. The main factor is dram cache.

Repped for great summary, and I agree with above that smi is better but dram cache more important.

Is there a deal on that Team Group somewhere?

I just recently had my third and last PNY SSD drive fail. Doesn't take long for these to stop working. My Adata from 2015 is still going strong after 24-7 usage.

I think my PNY SSD is dying... it's tough bc not sure how to confirm. My windows said that it was missing an important boot file and just won't start anymore. Then it kinda starts Windows 10 (it just loads and doesn't do anything). Is that a sign?
