I've had good customer service experience with Anker. They are definitely very popular here. But their popularity has started to reflect in their price. Quite often I see Aukey and RAVpower alternates priced cheaper. And my experience with quality of all these brands has been similar. No reason to think any one is better than the other. Like another poster said, they all are just 18650 cells with a controller (assumption here is that all of them are buying their cells reputable manufacturers).

Often specs of Aukey or RAVpower are better for the same price (when each on sale). Example - Recently, I saw a regular Anker 30W wall charger was a front page deal, while a dollar cheaper RAVpower 30W GaN based charger deal got barely a mention here. The GaN based one was smaller, ran cooler and had collapsible prongs.

I haven't done a comparison of the products here, and not saying Anker products are not good (they are indeed among the best), but it just seems they are being pushed here at SlickDeals a bit too much lately - more than what I think they deserve (considering their price relative to alternatives).

Not necessarily knocking this deal... but I bought two of these Anker 10000mAh [amazon.com] packs on in July for about $22 each. USB-C and Power Delivery. While I realize they aren't available now and/or you can't get the same right this second, it does put this deal in perspective.

And this is why I love SD. People like you with common sense. I agree with you on this because I also deviate to the value items. While Anker is top notch in quality I do find I can get great deals from RavPower and Aukey. I would say the general rule should be go with the best deal for the best features rather than by brand since most of these Aukey, RavPower, Anker brands have caught on with customer service.

Hey that is EXACTLY the powerbank I am looking for. I want a single USB-C cable and dont want to carry micro usb anymore. If this goes to $22+- I will jump on this deal.

I bought this for $30 over a year ago and it's still working for me. I'm a fan of Ankers chargers and cables - I bought one of their braided cables to go with it.

I used this on an oversees trip and installed it in a "smart" backpack that had an external USB port for my phone. I also charged my phone on the plane while watching a movie on it so that at the end of the plane ride my phone would still be at 100%. Very convenient.

I don't use it often now except as a backup if my phone gets to low battery so I maybe use it once or twice a month but it still seems to perform just as good as a year ago.

I have this model. It takes like 12 hours to charge from 0-100% if not longer. Granted I charge stuff overnight too. Also I know it's bad to leave a full charge, but after about 2 to 3 months on a full charge it has about 75% capacity. So it does retain a charge for a while.

In the past several weeks there have been a lot of Anker posts suspiciously making their way to FP. Many of the "deals" were not actually well priced at all and were routinely outpriced by reputable competitors like Ravpower and Aukey. This 10000mah power bank has no fast charging features whatsoever and merely features one USB-A output. This is basically entry level with low-end features and low capacity going for twice the price it should.

Clearly SD has some kind of paid affiliate deal with Anker which is facilitating their FP exposure, but on top of that Anker has posters on their payroll shilling for these posts. I like their products and actually own a lot of them, but this season I purchased several accessories from Ravpower because I take exception to Anker's questionable marketing tactics which frankly are unnecessary. They should be letting their product quality and honest reviews speak for themselves.

And honestly, shame on SD for turning a blind eye to this practice. Understand that your revenue stream is from advertising but this is a clear miss in balancing profit margin with integrity.

Ordered another one. This is indeed a stupendous battery pack. The only issues I've had (with two) are the cable that give out but in each instance, Anker has sent me a new and better cable, hassle-free.

my favorite electronics brand.

I don't understand code - do you or anyone else know what this function does? Does it really somehow automate the shill posts we're seeing?

It's not good to leave a device like this on full charge if it's just going to be sitting for months on end. You're better off charging it to around 80%.

I bought three of these in 2017 per my Amazon invoices. Kept one for myself (I travel for business every other week) and gave the other two to coworkers who also travel a bunch. Mine continues to work great - I can get about 3 full charges on my galaxy S7. Recharging the anker battery to 100% can take a while, but even at half full it'll get me through a flight. Both of my coworkers have repeatedly told me how much they like battery and how often its saved them on trips.

FYI, this model doesn't support Qualcomm quick charge according to the product page on Amazon.

Anyone has this model to confirm?

A lot of these kinds of items are all bade at the same manufacturing plant with different casing for each brand. Just get the one with the features you want (such as PD) at the price you want. Unless you like paying more for branding.
