What's the benefit of using ammonia free? And in your case, for you're car? Just wondering

Terrible luck with cancellations with amazon shipping this with my other S&S not worth the effort of ordering chemicals like this or liquids. About a 50% issue and when it happens takes about 30 mins to resolve and get items back I wanted for the proper price.

Best of luck for everyone else, but unless this is separate I would say buyer beware.

Ammonia strips a lot of coatings off of glass.

For instance, my glass shower doors have a coating to minimize spotting that ammonia would remove. Similar to most cell phones have a coating on their glass.

Regular windex can result in the tint peeling off.

Lame. Ammonia cleans glass the best. This one doesn't. Might as well use water.
Spray way also Ammonia free, does it mean that this product is also garbage?

Ammonia is an EXCELLENT glass cleaner. It is great at stripping things like adhesives.

However, that same trait is also a problem - on cars with tinted windows, the ammonia will attack both the tint and the adhesive itself. This is how cars end up having premature adhesive failure - that ugly bubbled tint and tint peeling up in the corners. Concentrated ammonia is used to remove car tint.

I got this last time because it was a good deal price wise. I previously always used Sprayway which is what my grandpa, who owned a glass and mirror shop always used. Should have stuck with Spray way and ignored this deal, it leaves streaks.
