I have one and love it. Good price, too. Mine doesn't drop connection like JMBauer said his does above.

Lousy speaker, even at $17.

Which BT speaker would you guys suggest for under $100? Portability or battery life is not a big deal for me as I'll be using mostly at home but do want do SQ and bass.
I'm not enough of a BT speaker aficionado, but if you have a 50+ dollar budget, you can usually get open box/refurb speakers on Ebay cheap, ones that normally retail for 120-150+. I mostly looked at videos for Sony, JBL, and Ultimate Ears Wonderboom. I think a lot of people will swear by a certain brand like sports teams, but I liked the sound of the Wonderboom 2 the most. One of the newest JBL might come in 2nd or beat it though.

This guy on youtube does a lot of comparisons for those 3 brands https://www.youtube.com/channel/U...9B48uvhHVQ

(fyi i ended up buying 2x Sony XB-22s open box for like 30 something from Ebay. turned out fine for my purposes. but I know there's far better speakers out there. the sonys have bad range)

Isn't there one in the $20 on sale that has more bass and lasts for 30 hours? Not saying this isn't a good deal just wondering if that deal is ever coming back. Tribit had good reviews but I thought there was an anker or Aukey that was really popular. Wondering how different those $20 on sale ones are compared to this
I bought an Oontz Angle 3 a while back for around $20 and it's been great. Only one I saw with that much longevity for the battery. Everything else was around 1/2 the 30 hours. So, maybe that's the one you're thinking of?

Anybody interested in this older model Motion B speaker for $20 should check out the Bugani M99, which I feel is a superior speaker overall. It's also just $12.23 right now on Amazon using discount code DUN7X9PA. I have a bunch of BT speakers and have tried a bunch and for $12 the M99 is a heck of a deal.

FYI, it was 19.99 for quite some time. I skipped this and bought Tribit MaxSound (24W) from eBay for $26. Haven't received it yet.
This doesn't compare to the tribit xsound go or tribit maxsound. Both are significantly better and louder than this Anker.

The Fender Newport was onsale for $80 not too long ago at adorama. I grabbed two and it is awesome. I'd look out for that again

Does bestbuy sell these some can actually hear before buying instead of trying to return if it sounds bad?

The Harman Kardon Onyx Studio speakers are top notch. The Onyx Studio 4 has been under $100 for several weeks, but not sure it's still available now. The Onyx Studio 5, which is the newer model, is currently $111.95 on Amazon. These have a built-in battery, but no IPX water rating. These are high quality sounding speakers for this price and offer a very substantial bass punch that is clean and not muddy. I have a pair of the Onyx Studio 4's and one of the 5 and both are speakers I would highly recommend, particularly for indoor use.

One other option is the Vizio Crave Go speaker, which is still available at Best Buy for $39.99. Bass is not as good as the Onyx Studio speakers, but the overall sound quality is very good. This speaker is also wi-fi compatible, so you can run multiple speakers in your home. It also has a battery built-in, but no IPX water rating. Either one of these would be a great option, but the Vizio would allow you to buy two for $80 and use them in with your home wi-fi. Applause

Exactly. One of the reasons I would not recommend the Motion B. Frown

Thank you for very helpful comment. Will look into these. I remember seeing Onyx on SD couple of weeks back but they sold out quickly.

How do the Visio compare to similarly priced Ankers?

I absolutely love it, favorite speaker by far. I'm listening to it right now actually. I'm sure you can get much better but not for this price. Tempted to get an extra.
There is no way Jeffrey Epstein would "kill himself" if he had one of these. (Ok, who am I kidding? Just like my christmas lights, Jeffrey Epstein didn't hang himself)
I bet you're hilarious at parties 🙄

One can't expect "deep bass" from a speaker this size, but I take it has better bass response than a home or dot? And no free returns on this...?
