Target is offering $30 gift card when you buy a Nintendo Switch console starting 12/15.

if you combine with the 12/8 gift card, looks like a decent deal for those interested.

Unless this is the Gen 2 this is not worth it my opinion.
AFAIK there's no bundle that is V2. All the bundles with games are the old V1. I bought the V2 amazon deal instead which is $299 and you get $30 back , so $269. The red/blue you won't get before Christmas , so had to go with the grey. The only way to tell if it is V2 is the part number on the box, which says HAC-001(-01). The V1 version only says HAC-001 without that extra -01 on the end.

Plus an extra $30 if you bought $300 gift card on 12/8 for $270
I did buy $300 gift card for $270 using Discover card so that was roughly about $255 after Discover cash back and now getting another $30 with the gift card that makes it $225, a sweet deal

The new Switch has a slightly different model number to the original, which is HAC-001(-01), while the first version was simply HAC-001.

Target online = HAC-001(-01) = new version

its the V2 box. Target doesn't carry V1 anymore except the Mario Kart bundle on BF.

Is this the new model?
Target only sells the new model now. You can tell by the bright red box. Those are all the new model. Only the Kart bundle was the old one.

I got the same deal at Best Buy. The $30 gift card is an e gift card that they email you after you pick up in store. I had a gift card to spend plus used my cc and got another $5 in points. For my kid so...

I just purchased one a few weeks ago from Target. Will they still match this deal even after opening?

Their price match policy is 14 days.

They may let you return/rebuy at customer service though.

I think this deal is expired. I don't see anything about gift card on Target's site.
