This is the lowest that it has been (other than the one time it was on Woot for a few minutes on sale before it sold out) according to the three camels website. I've been watching this for weeks for my son's Switch and have never seen it for less than $61, for the original Nintendo controller. The third-party ones are cheaper however.

save yourself money by just getting a controller adapter for the switch, it's like $20 and you can use any controllers (ps4 or xbox1 controllers) on your switch. it's plug and play with mayflash magic ns wireless bluetooth controller adapter.

switch pro controllers are too expensive even when they are on sale, but you can get ps4/xb1 controllers for $30-40 on sale.

they break easy and will start to drift on its own.

Wasn't that the joycons that do that, and not the pro controller?
Yes. Nintendo has a free repair program for drifting joycons. It doesn't apply to genuine pro controllers.

Got it in the mail a few days ago. Attached to a ad or something like that. 10 off 50 with a bunch of exclusions on the back.

Does any Xbox One controllers work with the switch if you get the Mayflash?

I have the adapter and its great for the most part, but there are games that take advantage of the gyro in the Pro Controller. I can't do some moves in Mario Odyssey by using my Wii U Pro Controller with the adapter.

My pro controller never drifted, but my two pairs of joy cons both drift. I haven't tried the solutions yet (firmware & calibration), and Nintendo offers to repair them anyway.
I had the drift issue on 2 sets of joycons that my son uses almost every day.

I fixed them both by using canned air to blow out underneath the rubber flaps shown here: https://youtu.be/A6kek06vRv8 and then pressing down somewhat firmly on the directional pads with my palm and rotating clockwise and counterclockwise 5-10 times each and finishing with another round of compressed air.

I've been looking for a deal on the pro controller and here it is.. but while I've been waiting I've also read a ton of horror stories about the stick drifts and crappy Nintendo warranties.

The controller adapter seems pretty neat but how is the wireless lag and range? I read a review on Amazon that states that you can connect two controllers per dongle but that's it. That's ok cause that's all i'd need since the switch also comes with a pair of joycons.

For those that complain you can't use your wii-u pro controller with some games properly, why not just use a dualshock controller instead? Is it because of the different stick layout or something else?

Now i'm torn on whether to shell out the extra cash for a pro controller or just get another set of the joycons for games that NEED them and the adapter dongle in this thread Frown

Getting my 3 kids a switch for Christmas. It comes with one joycon controller. Would it be advisable to get 2 of these to go with it or should I get 2 more of the joycons?
I'd go for the joy cons. The switch comes with two, if you buy another pair four people will be able to play Mario kart etc. Much cheaper than buying 2 pro controllers.

I bought the 8bitdo adapter off of Aliexpress for ~$11 a few weeks ago to use my DS4 on the Switch. Still not here yet but the youtube reviews seem positive.

Hopefully Target lowers the price on the pro controller as well since I still have the 20% off coupon and a large gift card balance with them.

Thanks for the info. Originally purchased through Wally but saw your post. I didn't have a $10 coupon but I did have a $5. That along with $8 in target circle.

After the price match it came out to $45 shipped. + 5% CB with Chase Freedom by paying with PayPal

I cancelled the Walmart order.
