Normally $180, and a look around the internet shows that's not too far off. So prices out there today aren't even anywhere close to what you can get in this deal.

I have a Ninja coffee system, and it makes fantastic coffee. Mine is the glass carafe, and it looks like this one is the stainless steel carafe. The glass carafe system has a heating element to keep coffee warm, but the stainless steel model just stays warm due to insulation of the carafe. I recall reviews saying it stays warm for hours, but do your own research here. If a steel carafe is okay with you, and you are in need of a new coffee pot you will love this machine.

I knew my alert for "fancy pants" would pay off. Does it do decaf or just regular? Kidding.

I have had the glass carafe model for over a year now and love it! I especially love the single cup option, allowed me to break up with keurig

Can you still use K-cups or is it regular ground coffee only?

Regular ground coffee. IMO, it's nothing special, just a coffee pot. We have never used the frother. But do like the ability to make various pot sizes or single cups.

The one in this deal definitely is not their fanciest model, although I think it was the fanciest when it was released. The one you linked to is the "Hot and Cold Brewed System," which is newer and more expensive, with separate brewing for tea and the ability to cold brew both tea and coffee.

I feel like the cold brew feature makes it worth the extra cost

I have this model and it's been nothing but a nightmare. My clean light stays on, Google it and you'll be amazed and the constant issues about it. Other then that it's a good coffee maker.

I've had mine for about 3 months. A few observations:

I never use the frother but my wife has a couple of times and it works well.

It comes with a reusable filter but buy some #4 Melitta coffee filters. They are cheap, do a better job, and make life easier for the little expense.

I wish I had this one that has the metal carafe. I'm not seeing anywhere that you can buy the metal carafe at a decent price. Nothing wrong with the glass one, just scared of breaking it.

Cold Brew-Yeah it's ok but it still melts your ice cubes rather quickly. I'm inclined to just brew a normal pot, let it get cold, and then throw it over ice.

Overall, pretty happy with it.

Been using this for over a year and it's been great. I've been grinding my own beans. For a while I was doing "Bulletproof" coffee with the frother, and it worked amazing (now I'm doing IF instead). I use the re-usable filter and it works pretty good unless I really finely grind my beans.

FYI. the Ninja coffee makers that use the thermal carafe do not have a hot plate. It relies solely on the thermal carafe to keep the coffee hot. I personally prefer the glass carafe/hotplate combo of our Ninja CP301 but other may like the thermal carafe. Just good info to have. There are a few complaints online that the coffee doesn't stay warm enough in the thermal carafe.
