Give up, and get a good VA panel. I got the Benq 32" 4K. perfectly happy. I've had IPS monitors all along. But 32" 4K , I waited forever, and don't see an IPS 32" monitor happening at a good price. For whatever reason.

Good price. Shame about the VA panel. If it were IPS, I'd jump on it.

You won't find 32in 4k ips panel at this lower price point til 8k is more popular. Even the crossover 324k, a low cost ips will still cost more than this.

Just bought a PS4 Pro. Would this be a good gaming monitor?

I have 2 of these for my home office. Not a gamer so can't speak to that aspect. Displays are nice. Stands are fixed in a way where you can only go up and down vertically. Only one display port and one HDMI input. I do wish there was an additional DP or mDP input on the monitor. Believe this a two year old monitor now. I don't VESA mount these but think it's possible.

Where have you been? In 2015 (four years ago!) Sony put the exact number of pixels in to the 5.5" screen on the Xperia Z5 Premium which had a PPI of 801.06!

Pretty sure this is the same monitor I bought on Black Friday. With Rakuten 20% for the Thanks20 promotion it was 20% off to make it slightly under 300 at like $296. Plus, had $35 cash back if you used a master card.

Nevermind mine was the LG 32UK550. I don't see what is really different between them but yeah.
