I'm a plumber that works rough end multi family and I use these for drilling through metal mainly. They will drill through wood no problem but are intended for metal or wood that may contain metal in it such as nails, gang nailers, nail plates, etc.

If you need to drill multiple holes through wood I reccomend using the carbide tip hole saws because you can get the "cookie" or inner wood that was drilled out much easier than these. With these bi metal hole saws you will need a flathead or similar tool to remove the inner circle wood that's being cut out. Last, if you have to drill a ton of holes make sure to either get some extra pilots or drill into your wood then half way pull out and then continue to drill so it creates a little more wiggle room to easily remove the cookie.

When you use these just make sure that you drill for a few seconds then wait, then drill, then wait etc. when the metal gets too hot it starts too dull at a much faster rate. I let a friend of mine borrow my set and he burned up 2 hole saw to where they were nubs.

Description states "17 hole saws in 9 sizes" and if you look up close, it is actually 9 hole saws and they count the bits and accessories to equal 17. Should state "17 piece set." Not saying this changes the value of the deal, but a buyer consideration

Fyi, it looks like Amzn has these for about $10 more w/ free shipping (have to choose seller). I'm pretty sure same set but not 100%:

Milwaukee 49-22-4029 Tool HOLE DOZER Bi-Metal Hole Saw Set (17-Piece) with Case https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KPXP...9DbEJN7HXM

There *is* another listing on Amzn for almost $70, so OP wasn't wrong either.

I bought this over a week ago, it has been going on since BF. Some of the hole saws have rough welds and as a result have a small flat spot on what should be a circle. It is the first hole saw I've bought, so maybe it is normal, but doesn't look great.

Seems like a good set but I've bought my hole saws individually as I needed them over the years. Now I have a drawer full.

Unless you are doing metal, I recommend getting a good carbide set like Spyder. I love my set, cut trough some hardiboard siding and still could cut wood after, amazing!
