Looks like BestBuy has a sale on its unlocked Google Pixel 3a.
  • $279.99 (Activate Later)
  • $229.99 (Activate Today)
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/goog...Id=6347785

Seems like it's a pretty good deal since the $299 sale on Amazon a while ago was popular. Colors currently in stock are Black, White & Purpleish.

Mine came out to $309 (tax included) with free shipping.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Thank you.
I will look into these options. Do you know if I can activate them with the Employee plan?
There is no contract. You buy the phone outright for $229 (with carrier activation) and you own the UNLOCKED version of the device, there are no bill credits to speak of.

True. But there was a sale for 3a on Google Fi which came for $250. It had to be activated on Fi but can be cancelled the same day without any charges.
Did this with a 3a XL for my daughter for 329. Absolutely no issues at all.

Reasons????
idk, I have too many phones lol I think I have a problem. But the 3a XL just feels smoother despite having less RAM and a slower CPU. The 6T is an absolute beast tho. Just wish I would've waited for the 7pro

Does activate later mean I never have to activate or set up a new line?

NIce. I'm not a big paper spec person either. Phones for me have to have fantastic earpiece/speakerphone voice quality, reception, battery life, feel good in the hand and operate relatively smooth. I'm constantly buying and selling phones looking for the perfect beast. Not sure if this Pixel would pass in the battery department.

The 3a XL has really good battery life. I can easily go all day.

The search for the perfect beast continues... but I'd say a oneplus 7pro has to be pretty damn close to perfect, OR the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren edition

It simply means you are buying the phone untethered to any carrier service.
