What kind of "bad" review is this.. ???

"Great price. Bad Roku. Bad DEFAULT settings. Cheap remote. My dad told me".

Nonsense. Straight up nonsense. I recommend you stay out of recommending.

Exact same TV that Best Buy had for sale on 12/2 for $200, but without the Google Mini.

How does this Sharp compare to the Hisense deal that just expired? The specs looks similar when I used the compare feature on Best Buy's website, though it does appear the Hisense is physically just a bit smaller and lighter.

damn i'm really surprised these 4k tv's can actually become this cheap. we've seen low $200 price range for the last month pretty consistently. crazy how optimized the manufacturing process is

Sharp TVs were manufactured by Hisense until May of this year. They just regained their company recently. If the tv wasn't produced in late 2019, then it was made by the Chinese company Hisense. See article here https://www.google.com/amp/s/www....best-deals

Same with me. Screen went black after few hours of use. Replacement TV fine so far after 2 days. Worst is geek squad appointment times. First time late 1.5 hrs. Second time 3 hrs late.

I got the 50" Sharp TV $200 deal earlier last week and I wish I didn't buy it. Here are my 2 cents opinion about the TV:
1. Great price. $200 for 50" 4k tv
2. Roku was meh. It is kinda buggy and slow. Compare to a 6th gen sammy smart TV UI/UX sammy is a 9 and Roku is a 5.
3. With default setting, color wasn't great. I had to turn color setting almost to 90% to get "ok" color ratio, or else color was very bland. Even my dad told me to adjust the color of the tv.
4. Remote came with the TV was cheap. I believe it is same as Roku Remote. There is no option to change Input on remote but have to go to home (exit what you watching) and change input out there.

Overall, if you are looking for a bed room tv, this is a "meh ok". as Main TV in Living room, I recommend you to get a better well known brand. I would rather spend another $80-100 and get a smart sammy if there is one.

Bought this on Black Friday for 199.99. I'm actually very happy with it. For the price it's hard to beat.

I got this for $200. I already had a 55" Hisense 4k from 2017. The roku is much better than the standard smart UI. For whatever reason this one has the soap opera effect and the hisense does not. I actually think the remote is nice. No complaints here.
