Not with a 1650....

USB C power limit spec is 100W which is only good for thin and light laptops. Pretty much any gaming laptop will not fully power CPU and GPU at 100W.

I have the Overpowered version with 1060 from a year ago. Managed to get it for 599, been very happy with it after adding second stick of ram. Build quality is very good... Has a second NVME slot that runs full speed. Custom software and bios available to tweak per key rgb, performance boost, remove power limit, etc. Thermals are good. I still want the larger battery though... I get a full three hours web browsing, but the larger battery gives you 5+. I think the real deal here will be when the 2060 version hits $799, which the 1060 did this time last year (I only got further discount due to Intel game key issue and being shipped an open box as new)

TongFang chassis, with an excellent screen(97% SRGB), very good CPU and good build quality (metal deck and lid).

This is the second one we have (brother has one). VERY good laptop even for $1,000.

Understood but would be nice for when not gaming/casual use as a secondary option.

Seems like the Razers are some of the only ones that do have USB C charging.

"Some games require a more powerful graphics card than others. If you will only be playing less demanding games, a budget-friendly graphics card like the GTX 1050 is perfect for 1080p 144hz monitors. Most e-sports games (CSGO, Dota, Overwatch etc.) fit into this category. However, modern AAA games like The Witcher 3 and Battlefield 5 will require a more powerful card if you want to get the most out of 144hz."
