This is the lowest price ever - $50 less than the previous deal. The only thing that people have complained is the loud fan noise, bu and doesn't bother me since I have been running it in Eco mode. Other than that, everything is excellent for this projector.

20% of reviews are 1 star. Premature blown bulb is common complaint.

It looks like a decent portion of those 1 star reviews are for the 2017 model (HD27) or the 2019 model (Hd27Hdr), the HD27e is the 2018 model. I have the HD27e and love it.

It's loud in normal mode, but fine in eco, and eco is bright enough for use for most of the day. For me it's in a room that has windows that look out east, the only time I need to get out of eco and bump up the brightness is before noon.

The 20% 1 star reviews I'm seeing are for the 2018 model

Just buy a 3 years of warranty for $38.
Lol. And 26% of the reviews for that warranty are 1 star 😂🙈

Gosh! The other 80% didn't have any complaint. At this price, it's worth the risk and enjoy imho, otherwise one would have to pay nearly twice as much.

Actually 50% had no issues with the warranty (not good odds). 26% gave 1 star. The rest were somewhere in the middle. So..to recap, 20% of the 2018 projector buyers gave it 1 star, and as for the extended warranty, 26% gave that a 1 star. Personally, I avoid items and services with more than 5-10% dissatisfied customers. To each there own...

I recently bought it and quality is bad. Picture is not so great and gets stuck. Also has an ugly border larger than standard screens.

The Optoma HD143x is basically the same as this one except it has only 3000 lumens. It only has 4 stars rating, so in effect 20% of the people disliking it for whatever reasons, yet at $400 it was Front Page several weeks ago. Go figure!
