My Office 365 renewal is close to $100 each year. If you're already doing that, then essentially you get this monitor for $50 if you get the Office 365 to use as your next renewal.
Lol stop paying so much.

No it is not. It is a great monitor for general purposes and some games.

On sale. It's actually 109.99. But the .99 extra might be worth it for faster shipping/pickup.

Why buy a large 1080p monitor? You really want to get a 4k now a days. I would suggest saving your money.
It can just be more comfortable for people, plus they can keep the video card cost around $500 to drive them at 144hz+. For photo and video editing, yes, a calibrated 4k is great. But everyone has different needs/budgets.

Not sure why they even make non VESA monitors. Can't cost much to add 4 bolt holes on the back.
I assume "VESA" is copyrighted//whatever so manufacturer's have to request permission from VESA Co. to use those four letters i.e. say "x is VESA compatible!". Who knows what VESA Co.charges (flat fee, % cut of all sales, $ per "VESA compatible" item made? etc). That = higher cost per item/less profit -> no VESA for bottom barrel bargain items.

No worries, they made it a little confusing by reviving an old thread with dated comments like that.

From this [wikipedia.org] I read that they do not need to display the logo and therefore don't need to pay VESA. I think just adding the 4 screw posts and screws, plus adding to the depth is what costs extra money.
Quote :
Manufacturers of FDMI compliant devices can license the use of a hexagonal "VESA mounting compliant" logo.[6]
Many compliant or almost compliant devices do not display the logo, as is reflected by the absence of most key vendors from VESA's own public list of licensed manufacturers.[6] Of the members of the standard committee (Ergotron, Peerless Industries, HP, Samsung, Sanus, ViewSonic and Vogel's), only Ergotron is on the list.

I would love to get this as my 2nd office monitor. My current one is a small 4:3 15", ugh.
Your upgrade is LONG overdue!
