January's Audible Preorders, paying members only, FREE until end of December

(I'm using a template from my November post, because it explains what I'm doing.)

Sometimes Audible rewards attentive members with not only the choice of two free audiobooks every member gets, but also a brief chance to preorder several of the same audiobooks that will be part of next month's choose-two offer. If you preorder these (for free), you'll own them when the choose-two deal goes live, and you can choose from the others without losing these.

Let's keep this up to date and see how many we get.

... and apparently just added on the 19th, here's a bunch more free preorders with the same release date:

Not sure what I'm doing as I am totally new to audible but I paid .95 for it for a month so let's get some freebies!

Each month they will give two free ones from a list of say 5-8 books. This is just grabbing them early and not using those two free ones.

which is not downplaying it but that's where these books are coming from is the next months book selection.

The freebies are usually short and not titles you would want to spend credits on.

Make sure you don't spend your credits on something that costs less than a credit costs you!

Absolutely. And since some months I want 3 or even 4 of the offered books, keeping an eye out for these preorders means I less often miss out on those. (It still sometimes happens.)

Maybe I'm missing something ... the title says "preorders", but I can only get to one preorder through the link provided. Are there other preorders yet or will they all be updated on this forum as they're found?

There are no others yet. But OP is creating this thread so that more can be added as they pop up. Usually there are about 3-4 that show up each month.

You weren't missing anything before (there was only one released when I posted that), but yes, I keep watching, and today a whole mess of new ones were added. So take a look and see if there are any ones you don't mind cluttering up your library, I see some I'm willing to risk.

You have to be signed in with a paid account, otherwise they won't be free. Once you're in, you'll see the $0.00 price in the book's page itself.

If you're asking how I get all of the books at once, I use the Browse menu, click "Coming Soon", click the checkbox for originals, and then display as many as I can. I then use my browser to search for the text "$0", and repeat on each page. Easy enough.
