Thanks OP. I bought a couple and some wood glue. https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...lies/smile.gif
Not to be a clamp snob or anything, but if you're doing glue-ups you'll have much better results with the screw type clamps. These just don't apply the same kind of pressure for good glue joints.

Absolute SD bargain.

Just picked up two sets to compliment the Irwin clamps I've been using for the past 3 years. They definitely have an appropriate place and usage in my shop (and home). Have never had a concern with their usability.

Just for note -- I ordered online for pick-up but the e-mail confirmation of "ready for pick-up" seemed slow. Went to Lowes and CS had my order but said she had a problem locating the 9 sets website stated was in stock. I looked and they weren't in their usual spot. A very on-the-ball associate (not always the norm) quickly walked me to the other end of the store and located them in one of the isle temptation kiosks. So don't give up if not found on the usual rack.

Yup the same thing happened with me--I couldn't for the life of me find the stash, until an employee walked me over to the other end of the store where they were stocked along with the rest of the quick-sale items out on the open floor.

Stopped by a store and grabbed one. Scanned to $23 for they were able to adjust the price at register. Thanks and repped.

They were located in the middle of the isles pretty far from the usual section. I was able to find an associate who radioed someone very knowledgeable and was able to tell where it was right away.

Same as others, store had to PM their website since it was still scanning at $23.98.

FYI for military members, the item on receipt lists as "Minimum Item Price", so any military or Lowe's card discounts won't apply.

Picked mine up at lunch time. Looks really nice for the price. I was expecting them to be smaller but these are nice.

$2.xx per clamp is a great deal!

I bought this from last week's SD @ $23.98 (50+% more than the current price) and was happy. I just reordered at the lower price and will do a return.

The spring clamp has a strong spring. The bar clamps are light duty ... and if you can't figure out the latter based on the size and material than your not qualified to have your opinion taken seriously.
They'll come in extremely handy for a huge range of clamping tasks, and will out perform heavier duty clamps for many operations that benefit from a lighter weight, more maneuverable clamp, that can be operated one handed.

*I'll also add as a general observation that plenty woodworkers over clamp their work .... just as there's also many woodworkers that use an excess of glue. Just because one has a clamp that can apply enormous pressures doesn't mean you should be using it for every clamping application, and applying too much clamping pressure can starve the joint of necessary glue due to excessive glue squeeze out ... besides making a big mess off everything with the glue requiring more clean up and possible contamination of the rest of the project by glue dripping all over areas that are better kept without glue, not to mention wasting glue.

There's plenty of woodworking projects that are smaller and/or need smaller clamping forces. Not to mention innumerable applications outside of a strictly wood glue up context where a light weight, easy to maneuver, quick deploying, one handed clamp is the ideal tool.

Like everything else, what matters is the right tool for the right job, not how many ft./lbs of pressure it can apply.
(Rant off)

Quote from g00ber :
When it says 12"..
does that mean it can hold/clamp an item that is 12" thick?
or does it mean the clamp itself is just 12" long?
Can hold an item 12" long. Jaw capacity is 12".
