EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 SC GAMING Video Card $299.99

$299.99 after promo code and rebate. This is the triple slot single fan design. I personally own this card and it may not be the best cooling solution for overclocking but it runs plenty cool and quiet out of the box.

Price must have changed? Shows $339.99 prior to the $20 code.

I'd much rather see the 2060 Super cards at $349. There is no point in buying a regular 2060 unless it's dirt cheap- which this isn't.

You can pick up 1070's for $200 these days, better to get one of those if you need mid level performance and wait it out for the next round of price drops.

I found a open box today at microcenter for EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 XC Black card for 280. There's also a 20 dollar rebate, makes the deal at $260. Is that considered dirt cheap? Or is it better to find a used 1070? I have 30 days to return it and get a extended warranty if I choose to for 30 bux to add 2 years.

5700 is a better deal. You could get one for as low as $300. Top models go for around $340 for Powercolor Red Dragon.

It's 6% faster than 2060 at 1080p and 9% at 1440p.

I wouldn't bother with those single fan models unless you have to due to size constrains. You always want a card with good cooling. That's the biggest differentiator these days.

Will keep that in mind, I do see a 5700 Powercolor for 319 now at MC, but guess if I'm gonna switch from the 2060, best find a 5700 XT. Eventhough I have seen people are updating the bios to XT successfully.

https://www.techpowerup.com/revie...ide/8.html showed that after mods the non xt can get within single digit % delta with stock xt. Thanks for the hint!
