The over ears are good for a quick DJ session and won't be too pissed if they break.. sounds decent as well with no EQ added

I used to have the camo version of these headphones (paid $50 on sale). They were my main DJ cans for years until maybe 10 years later one side just faded out and never came back. I thought they were pretty good for DJing given the price and that they could take a relatively high powered input signal without distorting. But I used them for lining up beats not critical listening.

How was the bass?

Last set of audiotechica's I owned had a flat response curve (good for mixing) but I like a "V" curve better for daily listening.

I like boosted bass and slightly elevated treble, kill me. Don't want to use eq.

Maybe it was even lower than reference on the bass end. (A990)
