Same,

I have had it for almsot 2 years (daughter turns 2 next month) and the only issue is the crappy battery, but I bought this huge replacement one from Amazon and no further issues.

I will say there is some 2.4 Ghz interference, so you may have to change your wifi channels.

For those saying just use a webcam, I would NEVER do this. First, there is a delay. If you are a new parent that will make you nervous as hell. Secondly, you'd have to leave the app open on your phone all night, which if you have problems with bright light while sleeping, won't help. Lastly, being depended on a 3rd party web service for the safety of your child isn't the smartest thing IMO. If they go down for maintenance or push an update in the middle of the night, your camera goes down and you have no idea what is going on with your kid. God forbid too your internet goes down for any reason.

There are folks who will complain there are people who can scan for the frequency and watch the feed, but IMO that risk is neglible and doesn't outweigh the risks of using a webcam which isn't designed for this.

Uh i've used this going on 2 years now.
Only thing I had an issue with is the battery going bad which they replaced for me under warranty.
The screen quality isn't the best, but this thing works well and the battery life is actually really good.

Also they updated the charging port on these from a micro usb to the round long power plug (not sure what you call it). Prob because of people's inability to plug their microusb charging without f'ing it up.

Thanks op! Needed a 2nd lens for upcoming baby... was able to get a whole new monitor for cheaper than just a 2nd lens.

Looks like only "Very Good" condition left for ~60 after the 20% discount. Still a great deal.

This thing is terrible - don't believe the reviews, after about a couple weeks it will not work without being plugged in and further, the night vision does not work. Works about as well as a 10 year old thrift shop version. Go look at the other times this has been on slickdeals and look the comments - not worth it even at this price.

Good to know they replaced the battery and updated the USB port. I'll be reaching out to them. Great camera. Only complaint is the temperature sensor very sensitive. Camera would say 78 but the room was at 72.

I echo Zaperk's comment. I bought one based on the glowing reviews but ended up returning it two weeks later. Audio was actually quite bad. The screen was not very good. Night vision was really weak. The connection distance (avg two story house) was pretty weak. Maybe I got a dud but I went with a different option. I am very comfortable with tech so I did all the appropriate troubleshooting and even had the techs on the phone trying to support.

Had mine 4 years. Battery still holds power for an hour after charge. I keep it plugged in anyways. Good deal.

I don't understand why this thing is so highly rated.

I bought one of these for the nursery and a temporary amcrest 4MP camera. I get it, closed system and everything, but the quality is just trash on the nursery cam. I ended up boxing it and returning it for another amcrest.

You can use an app from tinycam makers called Baby Monitor to turn your phone into a portable monitor. They (Amcrest, Eufy) and others also sell much higher quality competitive monitors at half the cost of the Infant Optics.
