Is there a way to filter out deals with certain keywords?

11 10 December 21, 2019 at 05:16 PM
I browse slick deals at work, and having the occasional underwear deal show up on the front page can be somewhat annoying. Is there a way to filter out deals with certain words in them, like 'bra', 'boxers', 'underwear', etc?

you can personalize both your frontpage and forum thread settings

on the frontpage, below the featured deals row there should be a button that says preferences (in classic) or personalize frontpage (in redesign). there you can set categories or stores to "dislike", save your preferences, and it won't show front page deals for those items.

as an aside, if you choose to "like" anything, it will mix in deals for those items from the popular deals section so you see them sooner.

in the forums (eg hot deals) you can use the filtering options as described in this post to hide certain deals

So is it not possible to exclude from the FP a certain keyword like "underwear"? Right now I have a -2 associated with the store through the FP filters, but I don't mind the store; its the particular brand of speakers always on the FP that I am trying to filter out. Unfortunately, the slider is both "audio and video" which is bit too encompassing than just speakers. TIA
