Decent entry level USB DAC, powered by usb... normally around $90. You will still need to connect this to an amp, or headphones that are less then 100ohms (with rca to headphone adapter).

This is extremely highly rated. Here's a detailed overview with measurements and whatnot.

I'd give Fakespot an "F" on it's rating of the reviews. Wink

I have two of these D10's and use them to primarily convert USB on desktops (Mac and Windows) to multiple outputs. The USB input on these can output simultaneously to optiical, digital and analog.

This is a great price. Of course, there are better DAC's but this one is particularly inexpensive and functional.

From what I understand the D10 and D30 sound exactly the same (neutral), the D30 has coax and optical in, external power and doesn't have the display. I haven't heard anything about any issues with 300hz(?), care to elaborate? Its been able to handle everything I have thrown at it so far.

You can probably find a better and more versatile DAC for about the same price. Note that this is a usb only DAC. The Coax and optical are outputs. if I was in the market for budget DAC, I would look for an open-box/refurb Schiit Modi 3.

Makes magic with music. It sounds great. It also support 32 bits audio files and dsd.

I bought this around Black Friday and think it sounds amazing. I bought a few different DACs and this was one of my favs. Couldn't believe it sold for less than $100.

Not quite comparing apples to apples here, since that is more for portability and has small battery, amp and eq built in. But for the DAC part, the D10 is way better, imo, and supports up to 32 bit/384 kHz, along with DSD64 to DSD256. The D10 is more of a desktop/stationary DAC, its 4.1(W) x 5.8(L) x 1.5(H) inches, and requires usb to power it.

I can't get 384hz to work even with proper drivers.
Only 192hz. But I doubt there's any difference though.
