Looks like a great price to me. This is $350 from other reputable vendors, and this is similar to the highly rated RBK50 system (but with Alexa...which I will disable since I use Google Assist)

Fantastic price! I have this and it's been very stable. They seem to have fixed the firmware issues that were causing issues with these.

Good price but I want to wait until WiFi 6 versions of these devices become more available and more affordable. I want to be able to Futureproof even if the wifi 6 devices are scarce right now.

The wifi 6 version is $700, and I don't think many devices are capable of wifi 6. Will be at least another couple of years for most devices to switch over.

Since the router is ac3000 vs the orbi voice at ac2200, everything will operate at ac2200 correct?

Orbi mesh router with satellite got great coverage every nook and corner. I am trying to add a 2nd satellite in my basement to make use of xfinity 300mbps full speed. Now I m only getting 30-50 mbps in my basement. Other than basement, my first and second floor are well covered with orbi main router and 1 satellite.

That is correct. Thanks for highlighting. I guess, I will keep the 3pack kit (https://www.costco.com/netgear-or...83036.html), that will cover all 3-level of the house.

I wondered about the speed as well. I have the mini two pack from Costco got last year and they are great but only get 220mb down and I have 400mb service. I think I read it is because the ac2200 only goes up to about 200mb.

While you're right about the voice satellite being ac2200 vs the rbs50 satellite being ac3000, you're wrong about the overall speed. Orbi does it different. There seems to be just a slight difference in speed at longer ranges compared to the rbk50 bundle, but reviews show speed for the voice satellite to be still too 3 (only other mesh router than is comparable is the Linksys velop).

The difference in ac2200 vs ac3000 is the extra speed in the link to the MAIN router.

"2.4GHz (400Mbps†) + 5GHz (866Mbps†) for WiFi devices to connect to the Internet
5GHz (1733Mbps†) dedicated WiFi link for faster data connections between Orbi router and Orbi Satellite"

Vs

2.4GHz (400Mbps†) + 5GHz (867Mbps†) for WiFi devices to connect to the Internet
5GHz (867Mbps†) dedicated WiFi link for faster data connections between Orbi router and Orbi Voice

So in practical use, the slight faster speed at a long range is not worth the $80-150 difference to me (compared to the rbk50). Compared to the orbi mini, those are ac2200 and appear to not have as strong signals in real world testing based on reviews
