I own and like a lot of EB stuff, but I don't know how these deals get bumped to the top all the time. If you every pay more than 50% of the MSRP on their gear, you're a rube.

I've never had problems with their items, and they are one of the few that have a lifetime guarantee.

Maybe a bit less junk with the link so that people could actually use it? I get it you want kickback for traffic, but, you cant even use the link using simple ad blocker software.

Lifetime guarantee but you have to spend to mail it back to them...there are very few stores left, I just received notice this morning that the one near Union Square in NYC is closing soon - it is one that I have a semi-regular access to. The last one near my home closed back in July.

I've been getting a LOT of stuff from EB thanks to the $10 codes they've been sending out. I dislike the flashlights-they do not last, the neck pillow went flat within 6 months although i did use it frequently, the denim pants fit odd- too big on the waist and are quite heavy, the sport tops fit small and the tall is way too tall. The down coat I bought now smells like a duck farm after one wash, I do not have a problem like this with North Face. I just really do not like their stuff for women, as cheap/free I am getting them, I will not be getting any more.
On the other hand, every guy I gave the tshirts to loved them, I don't know if it's because it's free or they just really liked the quality. I know a XXXL guy particularly loved the fit and now he's a fan of the brand.
Oh and the packable duffle bags can take abuse.

I don't think you can knock their guarantee just because you don't have a store as close as you'd like. They are one of the only manufactureres standing behind their product with this type of warranty.

Although their pants don't fit my body type well, and sometimes their jackets arm length are too long for my liking, that's all personal preference and my body type, not their fault.

One funny review I read on their website, some woman bought backpacks for her kids 7 years ago then it finally ripped. She sent it back, they did not replace it though, she was refunded in merchandise credit what she paid for 7 years ago. I think it was $20 something and those same or comparable backpacks now cost $80. She wasn't happy.

Ha! That sounds like more general wear and tear than a manufacturer defect. I think that kind of action is why some others have changed their warranty standards, unfortunately.

I have a ton of EB gear, and it all holds up well to my use. Smilie
