He can't post because it doesn't exist. I deplore people who spout off about not being a good deal and post non existent nonsense to somehow back their baseless claim.

Maybe it isn't a good deal but if you can't support your statement then why make it?

Damn I need extra sensors! Should jump on this. Can you use multiple head units in one home?

Has anyone bought a 2nd system and only used it for the additional sensors and free year of monitoring?

That is a good idea, so you can move all of your current sensors to the new system?

I'm actually not sure. I know you can move sensors between systems, or at least you could at one time. Was hoping someone here had done similar and could give some guidance.

So do you have multiple base stations? What happens when the alarm is triggered on one of the sensors? Do both base stations sound the alarm? I'm guessing the individual sensors are tied to a base station so that only one of the base stations would sound

Edit - I called Ring support and they confirmed that if you have a second base station it would not be able to communicate with your existing base station. It would act like a totally seperate alarm and not work with your existing sensors

It may not have it. I actually thought all of their base systems came with a free year.
