I stumbled onto this while browsing the warehouse this morning. They appear to have several available. As with all warehouse deals, it is hard to tell exact quantity.

It seemed like a good price for the battery alone, as the kit brand new has never dipped below $120 (according to CCC at least).

I have never heard of the 3.0Ah battery, but I would assume it is compatible with the rest of the 40v line. The condition is used acceptable, but I have purchased greenworks batteries from the warehouse before and have not had any issues.

I would suspect the damage, if any, would be to the trimmer itself and not the battery.

Anyway, I thought I would share in case anyone could use this! Enjoy!

EDIT: for those that care, the battery appears to have a usb port , which might be useful in power outages or something similar.

I've got this same trimmer and it does a great job for residential for sure. I've never had it not get through the tall grass and/or weeds I was cutting. 👍🏻

I love Greenworks products, but hate the way they do their model-numbering... am I correct in thinking that ST-120 is the model number for the entire package, but that the model number of the trimmer alone is BST4000?

Trying to figure out whether this thing is 'attachment capable' (i.e. for the edger).

Fair warning, warehouse products have always been scams for me. I've gotten complete junk in the past when the item is marked as new. You might get a box of rocks instead of this battery and trimmer. Big ymmv.

I have other 40V G-Max products.
It appears the 40V elite batteries need to be charged with elite chargers only, but the battery is compatible with the use of any 40V g-Max device.
Can you confirm the 3ah battery with this kit is compatible with standard G-Max products?
Have you tried non-elite batteries (std G-Max) with the trimmer?

TIA

Oh and the price is back up to $79.95, but the condition appears to be better (very good).

I can confirm that the batteries are interchangeable on the tools The chargers interchangeable.

I can't find a pre-wound replacement spool, nor parts for this item though. Very frustrating.
